These past few weeks, since the end of the Summer Blues, Second Age and their friends from OGS, have been steadily and forcefully marching forwards through the Elemental Planes. Fennin Ro fell easily, Coirnav fell in a fight we partnered with SS. We have done full clearings of the Plane of Fire, the Plane of Water, the Plane of Earth, and are keyed for the Xegony fight in the Plane of Air.

A big thanks to all the members for sticking it out through the tough Summer months and being here to continue on our path through success.

Our latest accomplishment came last Saturday, when we cleared the Plane of Earth and triggered and slew, The Mystical Arbitor. This has flagged us for PoEb, and allows us to start preparing fo The Rathe Council.

To illustrate what occurred that day, here is a well written description from Khofu, one of our Monks:

That was a GREAT day in all aspects for Second Age. We got something accomplished that we've been trying to do for quite some time. We went in there determined, and patient. The tanks did a great job. The healers did great. The enchanters did awesome. The raid let the pulling team take the reigns for a while and the rings/tanti were downed very efficiently, especially since we were not being rushed against a timer. Peregrin was halfway done before the raid even started. Mud was done very efficiently and the kiters did a great job. Dust took a while, as always, but we did not falter and the kiters again did an AWESOME job keeping the triumvirates at bay. Then we took out Tanti quickly, and she didnt drop the shoulders! *faints*.. We cleared to the opposite corner and did the Vine ring from there. The pullers worked together clearing the top and then splitting the 10lvl 70 mobs. Once those were dead the named rushed us. He got stuck in a tree at one point, but in the end, he died. We awarded the pre-awarded loot and rushed onto the temple platform. We led everyone up the side of the temple and we rushed into Arbitor's caves. We cleared all the way to arbitor. I stuck a shuriken in his leg, Toro stuck an arrow in him, and the fight raged on. Long story short, Arbitor was down and we flagged 50 some odd people. We got at least 11+ loots from this alone.

Afterwards, we journeyed into PoEb. We first had to figure out how to open the door on the first part. Trick was to clear the entire level. We did so to find out that one of the chieftans was already up. He had a very infrequent AE dot and he hit for about 2k. We cleared the other two temples to spawn the other two chieftans and promptly killed them. SA received three elemental patterns from them. Then POP goes the Warlord. Despite what we were told about him being NASTY we decided to try and kill him(thanks to the info provided by Sobillak). Toro set up in the corner and he was brought to camp. Toro engaged, and our healing (GREAT healing) chain started. The melee got at max melee and we began to keel him! Some of the melee died early on and battle rezzing was being done while this LONG fight raged on. When the mob was at around 50% (a LONG time later) the clerics began to run LOM. This is when the necros REALLY shined.. Kithov and Genoeb did a great job keeping mana on the clerics. At about 20-30% Toro ended up dying =( and There was a VERY fast aggro transition and everyone switched targets to Sobillak. He tanked the remainder of the fight and we had some really nice drops, including a great poker that Aruun won!
